Chairman's statement 19 July 2026
The Parish Council recognises that planning matters can generate strong, sincerely held views. Councillors expect and welcome representations made through appropriate democratic channels. In this context, it is important to remember that the parish councils are official consultees, not planning decision-makers.
Councillors and their families must not be subjected to personal contact, intimidation, or harassment in connection with council business. Such behaviour is unacceptable.
The Parish Council therefore requests that all correspondence and representations on planning matters be directed to the Clerk or submitted via the appropriate published consultation process.
